Watzmann Thermal Spa

A paradise for the senses: with its 900 square meters water-surface area, Watzmann Thermal Spa combines bathing fun, health, wellness and sport in a variety of ways. The subtle architecture with glass, wood and fresh colours harmonies with the beautiful surroundings, which influenced the spa offers in many respects.

In addition to highlights such as the Adventure Pool, Sport Pool or Sauna World, Watzmann Thermal Spa also offers specialities unique to the region: salt - the "white gold" of Berchtesgaden country - gives its healing properties in two large sole pool in the in- and outdoor area, as well as in an own sole area with "Heilstollen" (healing caves).

Watzmann Thermal Spa offers such a wonderful variety that thers`s something for everyone. Families with small children can enjoy their own coulourful water-world in the parent-child area with a large child`s pool, a dry play area, child`s toilet and changing table.

Bigger "kids" can enjoy themselves in the Fun- and Adventure Pool, in the currents and on underwater recliners. They can slip through the 80-metre Balckhole-Slide or do their lanes in the swimming- and sports pool. In the outdoor area, sporty people will find a beach-volleyball field and table tennis.

In our generous sauna area, swaeting becomes an experience. Our indoor offer includes Finnish saunas, a herbal sauna, aromarium, infra-red cabin and steam bath. Outside, you can sweat in the blockhouse sauna or Stollensauna, refresh yourself in the cold pool and relax in the grassy area. Children as of six years`of age may only visit the sauna when they are accompanied by adults (up until the age of sixteen).
