1. Preamble
Event at a leisure pool facility, certain rules must be observed.
Therefore, dear bathing-/sauna guest, we ask you to follow these house- and bathing rules.
Our personal has been instructed to behave politely and accommadating to our guests, so that your stay will be as pleasant as possible.
2. General
The house- and bathing regulations serve the saftey, orderliness and cleanliness at Watzmann Thermal Spa.
They are binding for all bathing- and sauna guests. With validation of the entry ticket, each guest acknowledges these house- and bathing rules, as well as all other operational regulations.
These also include the price rates in which the entry prices, fees, rental fees, etc. are fixed, as well as other regulations provided for maintaining operational safety. In the bathing- and sauna area payment is only possible with the Cip-Coin. The final payment is to bes made at the cash register at the additional-payment machine or with personnel at the cash counter.
In the areas of the turnstiles in the cash- and sauna section, there is video monitoring via individual photos.
3. Opening hours and entry
3.1. Our opening hours are shown in the entry area of Watzmann Thermal Spa. They include the time required to change clothes.
3.2. Visitors to Watzmann Thermal Spa are to proceed to the changing areas at least 15 minutes before the closing of the set opening hours. An announcement made by the supervisory personnel will additionally remind you.
3.3. As per authority regulations, the slide and the outer sole pool must be taken out of operation at 21:30.
Furthermore, the use of the pool or sections there of may be limited or completely closed due to special circumstances (e.g. over-filing, events, operational disturbances, storms or similar).
In such cases, there is no right to reimbursement or reduction of the entry price.
3.4. Use of Watzmann Thermal Spa is basically open to everyone.
However, access is not allowed to:
- Persons under the influence of intoxicating substances (e.g. Alcohol, drugs).
- Persons accompanied by animals.
- Persons suffering from transmissible illness which must be reported according to the German Federal Communicable Diseases Act (in cases of doubt, a doctor`s report may be required), or with open wounds or contagious skin rashes.
- For persons who cannot safely move and/or change clothing without external help; children under the age of seven; blind people; mentally handicapped people or people with epilepsy - Watzmann Thermal Spa may only be used together with a responsible adult accompanying and supervising the person.
3.5. Children under the age of six may not enter the sauna; for children between the ages of 6-16, a responsible adult must accompany them for a sauna visit.
3.6. Swimming clubs and other groups are allowed with certain provisions; the house- and bathing rules apply here accordingly.
3.7. Carrying out swimming lessons for the pupils of the municipality association is specially regulated; the house- and bathing rules also apply here accordingly.
3.8. Teachers and trainers of sport clubs and groups take full responsibility for their class or group. They ensure that the house- and bathing rules, as well as other rules created to maintain operational safety, are all observed.
3.9. Every bathing-/sauna guest must have a valid entry coin for the corresponding service and be able to present this at any given time while at Watzmann Thermal Spa. Sauna guests can pay the additional sauna fee either directly at the cash register or, against a confirmation, have it booked at the sauna turnstile. Whoever illegally enters the sauna must pay an increased use rate of 25,00 € and will be reported to the police.
3.10. The coins serve as a house-internal payment means for gastronomy, solariums, wellness, borrowing of swim wings and sauna bookings. Payment is made at the paymewnt machine or at the cash register. Payment can also be made via the value cards, however without a discount. If the time-limited entry coins are exceeded then additional payment will fall due. Misuse or theft of the coins will be repirted to the police.
3.11. Validated entries will not be taken back; payments or fees will not be reimbursed.
No reimbursement is made for lost pre-sale coins, value cards or gift certificates.
4. Pool-/Sauna use
4.1. Pool-/Sauna guests use the facilities at their own risk.
4.2. The pools and sauna cabins may only be used after thorough cleaning of the body.
4.3. Outside of the showers, soap, brushes and other cleaning agents may not be used.
4.4. The bathing facilities are to be treated with care. In the case of misise, intentional ditying or damage, the bathing guest is liable fpr the damages. If objects are dirtied there is a cleaning fee of 50,00 €.
4.5. Vehicles are to be parked in the provided parking spaces. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the expense of the owner.
5. Conduct in the pool
5.1. Bathing-/sauna guests are to refrain from anything that does not represent good behaviour or does not serve the maintenance of safety, peace and orderliness.
5.2. Jumping into the pool from the sides or into the non-swimmer pool is not allowed. It is also forbidden to run around the sides of the pool and on the step-ladders, on the grounds or to play around on any other facility objects (e.g. waterfall of the outer sole area, the dividing area stream channel etc.) or to jump from these into the water.
5.3. It is forbidden to push other people into the pool.
5.4. Swim wings, scuba goggles, balls and other toys may only be used in the adventure pool. (The use of eye-protection goggles is at your own risk.)
5.5. At Watzmann Thermal Spa, smoking is only allowed in the marked outdoor areas. Otherwise, smoking is forbidden as in all public buildings.
5.6. Breakable objects (bottles, glasses, porcelain, etc.) may not be used outside of the gastronomy area. Meals and beverages brought with you is allowed to consum in the appropriate context. Baby food you can warming up in the restaurant area.
5.7. Pool guests are not allowed to use musical instruments, recording devices and televisions in Watzmann Thermal Spa. Also forbidden is the use of cameras (in particular, cell phone photos) and film cameras.
5.8. We point out that the water depth is different in the pools (up to 180 cm). Non-swimmers may only use the non-swimmer pool.
5.9. Waste is to be disposed of in the containers provided.
5.10. The supervisory personnel may allow exceptions to forbidden activities mentioned here when endangerment or disturbance of other guests can be excluded.
6. Supervision
6.1. In addition to the manager and his representative, the house rules are enforced to all guests by the pool supervisor working his/her shift.
6.2. Visitors are to follow the instructions of the supervision personnel.
6.3. The persons mentioned above are entitled to ask visitors to leave Watzmann Thermal Spa if they are
- endangering safety and orderliness
- disturbing other guests
- despite warnings, continuing to violate the house- and bathing rules.
In such cases, the entry fee is not reimbursed. If a visitor refuses to leave then this will be reported to the police as disturbance pf the peace.
6.4. The visitors mentioned in Point 6.3. may be temporarily ao permanently banned from the spa in the case of repeated or severe violations.
6.5. Wishes, comments and complaints can be made to the supervision personnel or the personnel at the cash register. If possible, these will be attended to without delay.
At any time, you may also refer to the management (there are forms at the cash register).
6.6. Lost and found items are to be given to the supervision personnel. They will be held by Watzmann Thermal Spa for three months and then passed on the local lost and found office.
7. Liability
7.1. Bathing-/sauna guests use the Watzmann Thermal Spa, including all of its facilities and devices (in particular slides and the stream channel), at their own risk and regardless of the obligation of the operator to keep the pools and facilities in a safe condition.
7.2. In the case of force majeure and coincidence, as well as faults which could not be immediately recognised, the operator is not liable.
7.3. For the destruction, damaging or loss of its items brought to the facilities, we do not assume any liability, provided it is not a case of intention or gross negligence on the part of Watzmann Thermal Spa. The same applies to valuables or cash stored in the cabins or lockers.
7.4. The operator amd his assistants are liable for materila- or financial damages only in the case of intention or gross negligence.
7.5. This also applies for the parking spaces for vehicles parked at the spa.
7.6. Accidents are to be reprted to the supervision personnel right away.
8. Changing cabins and -rooms
8.1. For changing, bathing- and sauna guests have special rooms at their disposal (change- and collective cabins).
8.2. For storing clothes, lockers are available. Only after the coin in the key band has been entered does the locker open; the key can then be removed. The bathing- and sauna guest is to close the locker him-/herself and to carry the key with coin with them.
8.3. In addition, there are also lock boxes for valuables (deposit: 1,00 € or token - to be obtained from bathing supervison or sauna personnel). It is recommended to store any valuables in these lock boxes. Again here, the bathing- or sauna guest is to lock the box him- or herself and to carry the key on them during the pool/sauna visit.
8.4. All lockers/lock boxes are to be left open on leaving the spa. After closing, closed lockers or lock boxes will be opened by personnel an t the content will be treated as lost and found.
8.5. In the case of coin loss at the spa, there is a fee of 25,00 € for adults and 10,00 € for children. If the sum can still be dtermined, a material fee for the coin of 5,00 € will be calculated. This sum will be returned if the coin is found. Be ware that an activated coin in the spa can be used like cash; always carry the coin with you. The other contract part may provide evidence that no damages or lesser damages were incurred.
In the case of loss of a key or coin, the bathing guest must provide evidence without doubt that the material is his or her property before it is handed out. The personnel are obliged to ensure that the possessor of a key or coin is entitled to the contents if the locker(box in question.
9. Bathing wear
9.1. Bathing visitors to Watzmann Thermal Spa are obliged to wear usual bathing wear only. The bathing supervisor, who has his or her shift, may decide as regards the appropriateness of bathing wear.
9.2. Use of the sauna is subject to the usual sauna provisions (use of the cabins without clothing with a sufficiently large towel to sit or lecline on).
9.3. Persons who are not swimming, however, may also wear other, clean sport clothing, however no street wear.
9.4. If required, bathing wear can be rented against a fixed fee and a deposit to be held at the cash register. The rented bathing wear is to be trerated carefully. Misuse or less will render obliged to the payment of compensation. After finishing the bathing/sauna visit, the rented wear/towels must be returned at teh cash register.
9.5. Bathing wear may be neither rinsed nor wrung out in the pools.
9.6. Bathing- and sauna guests may not wear street shoes once they enter the "barefoot section" leading to the pools.
10. Other
10.1. Please observe that the sauna- and the sole area are quiet areas. We ask you to behave accordingly in the areas.
10.2. Disturbances may result in a visitor being asked to leave the area by personnel of Watzmann Thermal Spa. In the case of severe violations, the visitor may be asked to leave.
10.3. Only with permission is the hanging of posters, the distribution of printed materila and advertisements, commercial trade and commercial photography allowed.
10.4. The recliners made available by Watzmann Thermal Spa are not to be made free after each use. Reservations are not possible; there is no claim to a recliner or reclining space.
10.5. Every bathing guest is to observe the seperate regulations for use (e.g. slide, sauna, sole area etc.).
10.6. The house- and bathing rules apply for the entire spa operation.
10.7. In the case of special events, exceptions to these house- and bathing rules may be allowed without this requiring a voiding of these house- and bathing rules.
